The best thing about filmmaking for me is the challenge; finding ways to do things on the cheap. It's really not about fancy camera equipment or big studios. I find working with what you've got is much more rewarding. It's about being creative with solutions and making something out of nothing.

My two biggest inspirations are music and dreams. Most of my films are based on dreams I've had. Dreams reveal our most raw emotions, they say it how it is. And I think that's why they often radiate the best ideas.

Music has a massive impact on my film ideas. Songs provide a great canvas for thoughts and potential ideas. They make it so easy to daydream. When I listen to a song, I don't always know who the characters are, what they're doing, or where they're going. But I always sense their movement, regardless of their direction. And that's really how I develop my ideas.
